Saint Patrick's Day Party: Easy Food And Drinks



A visit to Memphis brings several "don't miss" tourist site suggestions - Elvis Presley's Graceland, Sun Studios, Mud Island and Beale Street. Through media exposure, Memphis also has its share of destinations for food-loving tourists.

The grade of the brisket of beef will be marked on the cryovac wrapping. It is important to realize that if you cannot find the grade then this is what is referred to as a Packer brisket. This is a brisket that got packed without any grading taking place. It is best to assume that such briskets are equivalent to Select. Another marking that is sometimes stamped onto Choice briskets is CAB. This acronym stands for Certified Angus Beef and is a marking only given to the top 5% of Choice beef. A simple rule to remember is that there is no such thing as a bad CAB brisket.

Finally, remember to connect with others during the cold months. Spending time with people you love and enjoy can really help bring your moods up. Playing games inside, watching movies, reading books out loud, or just sitting around and talking will all help you relax and enjoy yourself.

Cut the peeled apples into quarter and combine in a crockpot or slow cooking brisket with the cider. Place lid on cooker and cook apples on low for 10 hours. Add the spices and the sugar, mixing together well. Leave the lid off and cook on high for approximately 3 hours until thickened; stir occasionally. Spoon the hot mixture into hot sterilized jars, leaving 1/2-inch of space at the top. Seal with two piece lids. Once opened, or any jars that did not seal, should be refrigerated.

Put an olive oil in the pot in order to heat. Start being active . the meat and cooked it evenly. Take out the slow cooker and then place the meat as well as the remaining veggies inside. Include the pepper. In a different bowl, add up the flour and the boiling hot water then stir it up to make it paste. Add in this previously towards the crock pot. This can be used to thick a stew.

The second beef brisket french dip consisted of a boxed eggplant parmiagana that I liberally doused with grated parmesan cheese. The wine was long with chocolate and refreshing acidity and black cherries. The tannins were present and pleasant.

At the first sips the wine was absolutely delicious. What a combination of sweetness and acidity. Its first pairing was with slow cooking beef ribs accompanied by sliced potatoes and a tomato, onion, lime, cilantro and green pepper salsa that was more spicy than I would have preferred. The wine was quite present when dealing with the fatty meat. It's sweetness was not a problem. Its dominant taste was grapefruit. It became more acidic with the potatoes. The lime in the wine joined the lime in the salsa, taming its spiciness. Dessert was orange-flavored fruit candy; it managed to mute the wine which also lost acidity. I was out of wine and there was still some candy left. But there was no way that I would waste the wine on this candy.

This wine is not only Kosher, it is Mevushal (flash-pasteurized) which essentially means it retains its Kosher quality no matter who serves it. Once upon a time Mevushal was synonymous with tasteless, the process essentially boiled the guts out of the wine. This is clearly no longer the case. Let's give it a try.

Final verdict. This is definitely a wine to purchase again. I took a chance and had my colleague buy two bottles. I'll be presenting the other one at my wine club.
